Designers

All of Mender Society's designs are developed by two creative powerhouses, Agnes and Laura.

  

Agnes Saaby holds an MA in Fashion Design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. She has a deep and profound understanding of textiles and needlework and a poetic visual expression. Agnes has developed the floral designs for Mender Society as well as transformed drawings into embroideries for the Celestial Bodies and Living Creatures collections. When Agnes is not working for Mender Society, she immerses herself in art projects and made-to-order dresses made from film banners. 

Laura Julie Brage holds an MA in Art and Architecture from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and runs her own multidisciplinary label AOA ATELIER that focuses on clothes, graphics and art-direction. Laura has created the designs for the Celestial Bodies (SKY) and Living Creatures (FAUNA) collections for Mender Society.
